The #911ShrimpFever UnliShrimps for 2 at Blue Posts Davao for Php911

#911ShrimpFever #TheFeverIsOn

Think about this, a kilo of moderately-sized shrimps these days cost about P400. Then there's the case of whether you can cook it well or not. Well, what if I told you that you can have all the shrimps you want to eat for about that price and for a taste na sobrang sarap

Now I'm not just saying that because this is a promotional post. I know my shrimps. We have seafood Sundays at home and my mother specializes in cooking seafood. I myself have own sauteed shrimp recipe to which my chef boyfriend agrees na they pass his resto standards - so much so that he say that if I should cook at all, I should stick to my shrimps because they're the only resto-grade ones I can make. *insert crying-laughing emoji here*

the Unli-shrimps are packed like this

But I digress...

Blue Posts Boiling Crabs & Shrimps Davao is having a month-long shrimp feast for only P911 for 2 persons!

#911ShrimpFever #TheFeverIsOn

with a lovely choice of drinks (not part of promo but damn good you simply have to try)

Regular serving is at Php500 so for 911, it's truly sulit

The 911 Shrimp Fever is the newest offering from Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps. it's all-you-can-eat FRESH (take note: not precooked! So you're not going to get one of those dried out shrimps that come off those food warners) and tasty bags of sauteed shrimps in three flavorful sauces: sambal, boiled, and garlic lemon butter.

Samba (too good!)

Garlic Lemon Butter

During media day, I went ga-ga over the sambal sauce and decided to get my refill of those. You get to choose which sauce you'll have for your refills.

So here's the rule on Boiling Posts Davao's #911ShrimpFever, get your tummies ready:
  • The Shrimp Fever Promo is good for 2.
  • Valid for dine-in only.
  • The guest will be served 3 different types of sauces: sambal, boiled, and garlic buttered lemon.
  • The 3 sauces will be served at once. Refill will only be allowed until you've fully consumed all bags of shrimps.
  • Sharing is not allowed.
  • Excess shrimps will not be valid for takeout.
  • Available only from 10AM to 2PM (first batch - orange badge) and 2pm to 5pm (second batch - blue badge), Mondays to Fridays.
  • Guest will be charged for the unconsumed shrimps. Charge will be based on cost per gram.
  • Promo runs from October 16, 2017 to December 8, 2017 in all branchers in Metro Manila and Davao City.

"In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, the Senior Citizen can avail the promotional discount or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizen Act of 2010, whichever is higher."

A little bit of background for starters who can't wait to take up the 911 challenge: dining at Blue Posts is an event in itself. I was plenty suprised myself when I entered the restaurant: fun, nautical interior welcomes the eyes. Then there's the unconventional style of serving food that really makes you want to enjoy the meal in "kamay-kainan" fashion - to which I gave in to doing too.

Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps is one of Davao's sought-after seafood restaurants. The overall concept of Blue Posts Boiling tends to become pretty messy and casual. With "It's Fun To Be Messy" tagline, the inspiration of the interior embodies the look of a fisherman's wharf.

Owners of the restaurant, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Jennifer Ang, tips off first-timers planning to visit the resto soon that "It's always fun to be messy with Blue Posts." "Dining with bare hands is the norm. Once the food-grade wax paper is set before you're accompanied by a Blue Posts bib, prepare for a messy but satisfyign gastronomic adventure!"

Blue Posts currently has 3 branches in Davao City (Bajada, Lanang Business Park, and SM Ecoland) and three in Metro Manila (SM North Edsa The Block, SM Mall of Asia, and O Square Green Hills.) It makes me swell with pride that this 23-year-old homegrown Davao seafood restaurant has three branches under way in the next 12 months: the latest addition will be in Seascape Village, Pasay City, opening in December 2017.

"The secret behind our success is not just those flavors we match our crabs and shrimps with. It's the overall experience we bring to every diner that enters our restaurants. And we can't wait for more Filipinos to experience this through our upcoming branches," Mr. and Mrs. Ang said.

Hope to see you all on the 30th! I'm giving away Php1000 worth of Blue Post gift certificates so head on over to my Facebook page: katkatrocks and like the page or check back in as I'll be posting the mechanics there.
